The threading was not bad but the prices
were exorbitant. AU$50 for upper lip and eyebrow ($25 each). On a positive
note, very conveniently located in the city.

Probably one of the only
threading salons in Melbourne.
Massage and Facial.
Wow!! This has to be one of the best hotel spas I've ever been to. Perfect
after a 14 hour flight!!. Handily located in the Star Hotel and Casino in
Sydney.
Spajet Body Infusion. It was an amazing
treatment, the salon is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. The
treatment I had there was up there with Treatments I have had at 6 star
salons and spas around the world. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
They are supposed to be
colour specialists, but after showing them the exact color I wanted in
THEIR magazine, they got it completely wrong. They ruined my shirt with
dye and when I went back to complain about the wrong colour highlights, I
had to insist at least five times until they reluctantly patched up the
front of my hair with the colour originally asked for. No offer to
pay for the shirt though.
For the first time ever, I
was not happy with the highlights from my regular stylist. When I asked
for a correction the salon was very accommodating. My regular stylist was
not available so I was booked with a different colourist. She reassured me
that it happens sometimes and that I have every right to be satisfied. My
regular stylist never made me feel badly either and I was extremely happy
with the outcome. As a result they have me as a devoted and loyal client.
I went to
get a trim with blonde highlights and walked away with Ronald McDonald
bright permanent orange hair, and a $230 bill, which they refused to fix it
or give me any money back.

Colour , highlight and

I was absolutely appalled by
the treatment I received when I went in to have a correction done. I was
not happy with a color and cut my regular stylist had done and requested
to have it corrected by someone else. Their technical director treated me
horribly and made the comment "will anything make you happy?" I
was made to feel like a criminal for complaining. They did refund the
service, however I was humiliated and am now walking around with
horrendous hair.
Eyebrow threading and hair
color. I had my eyebrows threaded and hair cut & color done in this
salon. The stylist Teri and esthetician Rupy are amazing. Good job guys.
I recently move from Toronto
and I found this salon through your website. When I went there I was
welcome with warmth and I really liked the way they did my threading and
my brow shape was amazing.

Eyebrow Threading. I
have had my eyebrow done for over 10 years but this was the worst
experience I have EVER had. My eyebrows are now uneven and I have
been spending 2 days trying to fix her mistakes. She also left many
strays. This salon is not recommended at all.

I told Bina not to use wax
- I wanted just threading and she didn't listen. Because I use Retinol A
cream the wax pulled off my skin. She didn't give me a refund nor did she
feel responsible - these things happen was her response.

I got a
haircut there. It's a nice atmosphere and everyone is very nice.
Hair Cut. I have my
hair cut there by a stylist named Vanessa and she is great. She listens to
your needs and cuts the way you like it. She does not rush and I am very
happy with the results.
Arianne is amazing! I
looove her! She always does a fab job on my friend and after I went there
for the first time I cannot wait to see her again! Very cool chick who not
only can give an amazing haircut, but also fab color!
Kiren is the best when it
comes to threading. I have been going to her for 2 years. She's shapes
your brows just right, not too thick and not too thin. I have had Honey
and Stella do my brows before, but their not as good as Kiren. If your
going to do threading, go to Kiren.
The only
person at the Magic Room that can do a decent job at threading is Honey
(Edmonton St. location). She's excellent at what she does. The worst thing
about the Magic Room is how overpriced it is, particularly for a service
like threading.
Wedding
makeup & Hair. They were all so professional and their talents
are second to none. They really made me look and feel like a princess.

Hair cut. Absolutely the
worst hair cut I have ever seen or had. I have been to three other
stylists, all of whom have said that they cannot even fix it.
They gave me highlights
that were about an inch away from the roots, a disgusting colour - not at
all like the picture I brought in. and that completely made my hair like
straw. I brought yet another picture to show the bangs i wanted- long and
thin like Tyra Banks. What I got were bangs about half an inch long that
stuck straight up. Also, it took absolutely forever.

Eyebrow Threading. My
first time trying out this Salon/Spa. Ella was amazing and the price very
affordable. Her room however was not as clean as I would have liked it.
Her work though is fantastic. I will definitely be using her in the
future.
Threading & Waxing.
The service was great and what an expert for threading. Ravila is
great and goddess of skin care. I will not allow anybody to touch my skin
.She is a great professional and wonderful person.
Threading full face and
eye brows. This an excellent spa for threading, anyone who is afraid of
pain , go to Ambiance pain less threading experience is waiting for you.
I just moved
to Toronto from Vancouver and had to leave behind the Queen of the
Brazilian Wax a.k.a. Jacqueline from Opus Salon. I was nervous to try out
another aesthetician and then I found Nina at the Ambiance Day Spa. Her
braziians are fast, painless, detailed and run for about $50. The price
may seem on the high side but it's worth paying in order to get someone
with experience.
Eyelash extensions. Left
eyelash set fell off 15 minutes after leaving salon, and was told they
would last 4 weeks. When I went back to get my money back, they were rude
and didnt even appologize for my 2 hr. sitting time. They didnt even offer
to rmove the right eyelash set. They told me to get them off myself with
vaseline.
Facial. The Ultimate
facial burned my skin. It was awful and I had red marks all over my face.
This was the first thing my husband noticed when I arrived home!

Hair cut. The stylist did
not listen to anything I wanted done. I wanted to keep my length and I
went from waist-length to shoulder length hair. I was not asked what kind
of hairstyle I wanted, or whether or not I wanted bangs (which i was
given). Overall, a very bad experience with very bad service!!
Facial, massage. This
place is located in a down and out basement mall. I went with my
daughter and both of us felt extremely uncomfortable. I've had far better
service elsewhere.
I wanted a
cut and semi-permanent hair colour. I was quoted €50 for the cut
and approx €40-€45 for the semi. The bill came out to €115.00 which
I paid out of embarrassment. I realized they had charged me €75.00 for
the semi. After 2 weeks plus I plucked up the courage to phone the salon
and tell the head of the salon that I was not happy. His answer was
that he uses Aveda, that's how much it costs and he was giving no
explanation as to why I was charged so much. I would never go back
there!!!

Many
girls at work told me about this salon and I have to say it was an amazing
experience. I had a girl called Gemma who listened to me and talked me
through a few options, methods, and prices. She was warm and friendly and
put me at ease. I got a full head of foils and they are amazing. It
cost a 135 and got my makeup done for free at the end. They use Aveda and
I must say my hair feels great.

star, totally recommend her. She's so beautiful and funny as well. The
best eyebrows in town!

Foot Spa. I decided to have a foot
spa to relieve stress, I really did not feel it at first until I arrived
home. My feet are tingling not from the mint lotion but because it has a
lot of cuts, scratch and scrapes whatever you call it. It's terrible!

They have ruined my hair. I ask for
their opinion on how to achieve dark red highlights and they
advised highlights (yellowish white) followed by cellophane
(Red). After the procedure the highlights were extreme red,
not the agreed upon color. I complained and they repeated the cellophane
with a dark brown color, which they promised to last for 3 months. After
barely a week, the dark brown color was wearing off and the bright red
color started to show. After a few more days, some of my hair retained the
bright red color and some began to wear off and is showing the yellowish
white color. In 2 weeks, my bright red color became orange and some are
almost white. Not to mention, my hair was severely damaged is
falling off .
The stylist was inconsiderate answering
his phone 5 times during my appointment. He was pressed for time
since his next customer was already there, so my haircut was terrible.
Hair cut and colour. This
is an amazing salon! My stylist really listened to my hair woes and made
me feel a million dollars. I was also treated to wine and olives and when
I left, I was told I had earned £4 worth of loyalty points which I can
redeem on my next visit.
Shavata did an OK job on
my brows, but it took less than 5 minutes and did not warrant £35! She
also missed a couple that I had to pluck out when I got home. I was also
annoyed that she spent almost all the time just trying to make me buy her
unnecessary products. Service was not very friendly.
I have been to lots of
people for my eyebrows but the best ever had were with Neha who did the
best threading, very pleasant and very professional. She listened to
what I wanted then explained me she would do. I am so pleased with my
eyebrows. The best i ever had.
After moving
to the UK from the states, I went directly to Shavata after hearing that
she was one of the best in London for eyebrow shaping. In two minutes she
undid the fabulous arch in my brows that took years and thousands of
dollars to cultivate. Instead of movie star glamour- I got a perpetually
surprised look. I would caution people not to use her services.
Gave professional
consultation and listened to my needs. Took time to perform threading and
gave mirror at every step to ensure I was happy with it. Even gave me a
facial massage with a soothing creme after to calm down my skin. Only
critique - be selective with who you get as there a few ladies there. I
found my match and I'm sticking to her.
Excellent service, often
treatments available immediately although can get busy so worth booking if
you really want to get it done. Friendly, professional staff. I have
a loyalty card where you can get a treatment free after you have had
5. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Fantastic. It was fast,
the therapist was very experienced and advised a much better shape. Noisy
as near the juice bar but at least could get seen without an appointment.
Have also tried the bar in Fenwick which is much quieter. Am a covert!
Was not AT ALL impressed
with the services at Fe. I admit I was late by 10 minutes (but called half
hour earlier to warn her and apologize) but the beautician would not allow
me to explain. Waited an 1 1/2 hours and then she comes out to tell
me I might not even be able to see her! She finally did my threading
and the actual service was not very satisfactory. The beautician used NO
healing/soothing lotions so I came out quite red. Also, she didn't take
out all the hairs. I had to go home and tweeze some stray hairs myself.

Eyebrow Threading. Both
the Therapist and outcome was fantastic. It made me look younger, more
awake, more groomed and simply more attractive. The Therapists knew
exactly the right shape suitable for my face, and their threading
technique is in which they whisk away stray hairs with a cat's cradle of
fine threads. Also, it was quick and painless and within ten minutes I was
in possession of a fine pair of eyebrows and all for a mere sum of £10.

I had a facial. She
was 20 minutes late. The facial itself was agonizing - she touched my face
in a tremulous, annoying way, angled the steam over my face not on it,
tried to sell me products the whole time. It was a Dermalogica facial -
she just applied the products basically. I could have done it MUCH better
myself! I was so shocked I didn't even say anything, which I
regret. They gave me 10% for her being late. No way I'll go back
there for any treatment whatsoever.
Cut, color, facial,
makeup. Beauty therapist was excellent, hair stylist was inexperienced and
I expected more for a salon who charges £160 cut & color.
Color and hilighted. I
made an appointment with their international stylist who charged the most
to perform any kind of service only to come and say hi to me and had some
other young guy do my hair who kept poking me on my skull. The stylist
that I had an appointment did not do my foils or my color. Then when they
were washing my hair, I was told that there is a $40 charge for them
to dry the hair. I said that was unheard of ever. So I paid $140 and
walked out of the salon with wet hair only to go home and dry it myself
and see patches in my hair.
Paying $12-$15 per trip is
a little crazy to me, since I was paying $7 in California. The service
isn't all that great either. Sometimes the ladies can be a little rude; or
maybe that's just their way.
Hair cut. I have
come in more than one time and the owner/manager is unwelcoming. You
can hear the nail tech talking to her clients about other staff and what
bad cuts they do. I will be going elsewhere.

friend told me about the great hair cut she got from Brittney at Salon
Central. I then saw Brittney myself and it's true, my best hair cut
ever....love her!
Eyebrow and Lip Threading.
They did an awesome job!! It is a little more painful than waxing, but the
results last longer and hair re-growth seems to be lessened. My eyebrows
are very different in shape and she did an awesome job making them
similar. I definitely recommend this salon...it's a bit pricey, but wellworth it!!

Eyebrow threading. After
moving from NY I found it very hard to find someone that knew how to shape
my brows. Rambha at Ragtops is great! $12 is definitely worth it.
Haircut & Highlights.I
saw Jackie. My hair never looked better. She taught me how to use products
to make my curls look great. My color looked great. I still get
compliments even though I'm due to have it done again. I would recommend
anyone to schedule an appointment with her, she's well worth the wait to
get in.
This was the worst facial
I have ever received, and the pedicure I would have felt better off going
to one of the strip malls for. Additionally, they charge top dollar. The
facial was something I could have easily done for myself at home - there
was very little 'technique' involved. Also, when I asked if they would
perform extractions, I was told that although there was a "man"
at the salon trained to do these, he wasn't there that day. And even
though the "girls" had gone to classes & been trained to do
extractions, she "wasn't at all interested in that type of
thing."
Kanchan is
the owner of the threading parlour...She is the best, so ask for her,
however, her proteges leave a lot to be envied. However, even they are
better then some other places, quick and cheap...
Homer gives an amazing
hair cut. His personality is slightly offbeat, but don't be put off
because you will walk out with a hair cut you will be happy with for
months.
Eyebrow and face threading.
Amita is proffesional and through. I live in Morgan Hill but I travel to
Amita's threading salon because she is the only one I trust. Her
salon is clean and calming.
After my first hair appt.
which cost $216, I was not satisfied. Since Hoshalls has a 2-week
satisfaction policy, I made an appt. for the next week to have it fixed
for free. When the stylist (a different one) was done my hair
looked worse - a dark shade of ORANGE. I spoke with the manager who
arranged to have someone else fix it that day. So yet ANOTHER
stylist, who was pretty rude to me, worked on my hair. When finished
my hair looked slightly better but certainly not good enough to have just
spent 6 hours and $200 at the salon. I will never set foot in Hoshalls
again.
It offers
the best ambience. Courtesy to the max. Low prices, quality services and
smiles all over. They should increase the waiting area size. Sometimes, it
gets very crowded. Highly recommended for people who need personal touch
and care for quality services.
They do an
OK job with the nails themselves, but stay away from the airbrush in this
shop unless you like wasting money and painting your own nails at home.
Eyebrow Threading. I was
always on time to my appointments at Allure. However, I always made
to wait for what looked like no apparent reason. For some reason,
the threading here takes forever! I've been to great salons in Southern
California where the threading is superb and only takes a few minutes.
Also, the threading at this salon was the most painful I've ever
experienced.
I've had eyebrow
threading done before but this was the first salon that actually gave me a
BEAUTIFUL arch on both of my eyebrows and helped me grow them into a shape
that complimented my face shape.

Simply the best threading
place in the Bay Area! Very service oriented and every threading artist is
exceptional. Clean and always professional. They are always very
busy (a good sign they are a great place), so before I go I just call to
put my name on the wait list and the receptionist tells me how long before
I need to come in or when I can I call to make an appointment.
Hair Cut. Salon staff was
disorganized and unfriendly from the minute I walked in. After waiting 25
min, I checked what was going on and was told my appointment had been
canceled. They could have told me when I checked in, and I had called
myself to confirm that morning.
Two bad experiences: 1)
I'm a blonde and requested highlights and lowlights especially to cover up
the ash color that was newly coming in. He extended the ash to the ends of
my hair and put a red rinse on the top. Awful. 2) Requested
high/low-lights and she gave me stripes in the front half of my head.
Awful again.
This Salon constantly
overbooks clients. You may get a student when your stylist is doing one in
between your appointment or be forgotten under a dryer, or be completely
cancelled without warning. As you arrive you may not have an
appointment you booked the month before. Not worth the high expense you
are charged.
Brazilian wax. Meetra is
the best. I come all the way down from Southern California to get my waxes
done with her. Absolutely perfect job and pain-free!
Eyebrow threading.
This place is great! The lady there speaks English with an accent. She
does an amazing job on my eyebrows. Her salon is nice and
neat. I would recommend this salon to everyone. It may take a little
time to get used to it, but I used to break out from waxing and tweezing,
and I have not had a break out since I began getting them threaded.
I have been a customer for
years. Yes, occasionally my face breaks out but that is due to me not
following directions (you aren't supposed to use cleansers on your face
after having your face threaded) and also because I have sensitive skin.
The people at the salon do speak English, although with an accent.
The proprietor is VERY nice. I have recommended her to dozens of people
and everyone that has had the service done is super happy with the
results.
No
one in the salon spoke English. The salon was very dirty as well. The girl
that cut my hair dropped her comb, picked it up from the floor and used it
in my hair again. I'm no expert but I don't think that is sanitary. I
would recommend this salon

was not pleased at all with the eyebrow waxing at all. I was too tired to
notice at the salon, but when I got home my husband noticed a lot of hair
still on my brow. The girl that did my brow only waxed and did not tweeze
or trim them. I will never go there again for my brows!!

lady that did my brows did a wonderful job. She trimmed, waxed and tweezed
so that I had a clean brow. the best job I have had in a long time!! Great

I had a brazilian wax done
on me, I am a male. The esthetician was very professional, It was fast and
painless for 45 dollars. A must for anyone looking for this service.
Hair cut, color, highlites.
I had my appointment at 5 p.m. The lady had to leave at 6 to pick up her
mom, so she rushed through doing my hair. She left, and had the other
hairstylist finish me up. My hair turned orange. It was supposed to be
light brown with blonde streaks.
Manicure & Pedicure. The
best pedicure I've ever had. Nice setting, only natural nails no acrylic
smells or hair product smells and my pedicure has lasted 6 & 1/2 weeks
so far. Very clean, sanitary and sterile products. I was freaked out
wondering if the lady just used that clipper on the girl next to me or am
I seeing things. Awesome place, been there 15-20 years.

Threading.
Very beautiful salon, very
polite staff, prompt service, prices aren't bad, very happy overall.
The actual facial was
nice, but the entire 40 minute that I was trying to relax and enjoy myself
was consistently ruined by the constant attempt to up-sell me. The
technician kept asking me if I wanted the full facial instead of the mini;
but I politely declined. They didn't take no for an answer and proceeded
to try the entire time. At one point she even said "if you got the
full facial I would be rubbing you feet right now," as she sat there
doing nothing waiting for my mask to set. So much for a relaxing
afternoon!
I am still recovering from
the havoc this wreaked on my face. The woman broke the thread over 20
times on my face, used cheap regular thread, my formerly perfect skin is
still a mess a year later!
The salon
was nice, but the woman that did my eyebrows messed them up. She wasn't
East Indian (which should have been the first clue) and she didn't have a
waiting list.
I think there's only one
person who does eyebrow threading here. My visit was very informal, but
she did a pretty good job shaping my eyebrows. Not too painful either.
Threading, waxing.
They are very nice, clean and the prices are fair. I have been coming
there for almost 2 years. I also I have favorite person that does my
treatment and I cant wait to go back.

Waxing. One of the cleanest, friendliest, and most of all affordable! I
have been going there for 2 yrs now and even though I moved to a different
area I still come back here to have my eyebrows & upper lip threaded,
as well as all my waxing!

Eyebrow threading. Very
clean place, new salon. Ladies are very nice and do a great job, very
reasonable in price too. I drive over 40 miles to get mine done at least
every 3 wks.
Haircut. What a
great place. As soon as I walked in the door I could feel the energy of
the salon and the receptionist was very nice and helpful. My haircut was
exactly what I wanted. Salon Dusserre is a very upbeat place and very
friendly.

Unfriendly and not helpful
at all. Was treated as if my business was an annoyance & have heard
from others that they don't want new clients.
The stylist
that did my hair (her name was APRIL) was so polite and made me feel very
comfortable. She was gentle and wasn't trying to push any sales on me.
My haircut was awesome and her prices were VERY reasonable! Good job!
No appointments -- you
have to go in and wait. I tried threading for the first time. The
technician put two cuts in the delicate skin under my brow. She also spent
the brief time she worked on me talking to someone else. I will never
return to this place!
I first went to Vicki
over a year ago and was happy with the results my first few times. Since
then I've gone and she has raised the price every time. In addition to
raising the price the quality of work has severely gone down.
I just
recently got my eyebrows threaded and I LOVE them. The threading was
odd at first, but the outcome was perfect. Ask for Vickie and for
threading only...You'll love it.
Threading. Little
pricey, but Jeanna has a private, comfortable room. She uses the
"Israeli Method" I guess which means she wraps the thread around
her fingers instead of putting it between her teeth or around her neck.

The staff
was super friendly and the service was excellent. I live in the Bay
Area and wouldn't mind hopping on a plane every month to go there for my
facials. I recommend this spa to anyone who's spending time in San
Diego. It's worth every penny.

In the past
I've been to Union Street Apothecary. Not only were they very nice and
understanding when I ran a little late (the place is small and hard to
find) but she introduced me to eyebrow threading when I had only known
about waxing. She tried to make the process as painless as possible and
did a great job. My eyebrows were shaped perfectly and I was very happy I
didn't give up and just turn around.
Manicure, Pedicure,
Threading and Waxing. At the beginning of the mani/pedi, they unwrap
all of the tools which are covered in sterile bags. At the end of every
mani/pedi, you receive the nail files and the pumice for free (otherwise,
they throw it away). Obviously, this shows that the facility is clean. The
waxing and threading was painful (which is normal) but the person giving
the service made sure I was comfortable and stopped whenever she knew I
was in pain. I recently moved to San Francisco and was surprised to find
places comparable to those I frequently visited in New York.
Facial threading and
facial. The customer service is amazing. The wait was not that long and
even though I waited 5 additional minutes for my appointment, the front
desk was very polite and informative. The artist that helped me was very
friendly and warm. She took care of me like one more unique guest. The
salon is very clean and they provide great sanitation as well.
Their organic products are
great! my blonde hilights have never been better and the facial smelled so
good. The papaya facial made my skin glow with perfection.
Fast and
good - but only Sona (the owner) is good, and sometimes too fast - missing
hairs and some small cuts.

Have been
twice now, and have gotten fantastic and gentle waxings (legs, bikini, and
underarms). Also have gotten two great manicures, a flawless and
long-lasting pedicure, and one of the best hair cuts I've had in years.
All this and at a great price, too!
Massage. Massage
Masters used to be the best deal in the valley, but their masseuse
turnover rate is high, and my favorites have left the business. Not as
clean and organized as it used to be, but still o.k. in a pinch.
Facial. My skin felt dewy
and healthy. The esthetician gave me the best advice on how to keep up the
health of my skin and I felt relaxed and invigorated after my treatment.
Herbal Facial, threading.
Had gone for a facial for the first time to this Indian salon and to my
surprise, the parlor had a special going on - free threading with a herbal
facial. Shubhi, the owner, is an expert in her field and knows a lot about
how to take care of your skin. I loved the facial. Got pampered for a hour
and a half. My skin felt so smooth after that. I would highly recommend
Shubhi for facials and eyebrow threading.

I had my eyebrows done (by
threading) there twice and I'm not impressed with the work. The first
time, I came back with an "empty" spot on one of my eyebrow and
it was blamed to be caused by previous waxing. So, I let it grow out and
came back 6 weeks later to the same person. At the end of this 2nd appointment,
I'm still not very happy with the work. It just doesn't seem like it was
done by a professional.
Threading, waxing, facial.
Great people skills and excellent work, makes me feel special .Seema
helped me this time and now I know why she had people lined up to get an
appointment with her....somehow it did not hurt at all when she did my
threading. Very efficient and excellent work ....would highly recommend
her.
I'm fairly
new to the BayArea and have tried 2 other salons for threading and
waxing,i'd recommend this place to everyone .The staff there is so
friendly ,dedicated & effecient,prices are ok too.I was helped by
Seema and Karam.
The place was very clean
and I got service right away. The woman named Sandy did a great job on my
eyebrows. I had to grow them out after another lady (at another threading
place) had messed them up.
Hi Lights & Up do. Me
and my friends at UCLA all go to see Daniel at Adelante Salon. He does all
our Hi Lights and he just gave me a really nice Up do for a date at the
"Magic Castle". I can vouch for his Hi Lights, Hair Cuts and Up
do's.
Haircut. The girls at
Beauty Box are great. I got my hair done by Lydia and she knew how to cut
and style my hair the way I never knew would look good on me.
I had a full
face threading. The lady had some magic! It wasn't as painful as I've
experienced in the past at other places. Great natural hair removal
technique and the price is worth it!!!
Eyebrow threading. Wow
what an experience. the best technique with the best hands. Not everyone
can perform it like Priya did. I got a very clean, very defined shape of
eyebrows.

Straightening. Denise Kingsley is a total master at straightening hair. My
hair is incredible. She does many different types of straightening
processes and can help you choose which one is best for your hair. She is
extremely knowledgeable and a perfectionist!
Heather gave
me the best facial I have ever had in all my years of traveling.
Wanda is the best massage therapist/healer I have ever been to. After
suffering from a car accident she has truly helped my body with therapeutic
nurturing and healing! I feel great! I recommend this spa to everyone. The
atmosphere is truly serene and the place is beautiful.
Eyebrow Threading. I
was disappointed with the results at Elle. The woman was friendly and
professional but she didn't sculpt my brows in any way. My brows looked
exactly the same when I left. She only removed sparse hairs above the
brows and on the sides. She even missed some hairs between and below the
eyebrows. I never went back. Elle is clean and they seem to thrive in
other services.
Eyebrow Threading and
Facial. In a word "excellent" I have been looking for someone to
do threading and my prayers have been answered! Not only is the threading
excellent, but her facials are too! I have been waiting for Jila...and I
am so glad I did! Hard to get an appointment due to her being so booked,
but worth the wait!
Haircut, Color and Facial.
Consultation was perfect. The facial was the very best I have ever had and
believe me I have had many. The color came out exactly the way I wanted.
The whole staff was friendly and I can not wait to go back.
Eyebrow threading. I
was very pleased with the outcome. But I am also please to finally find a
place where I can get my eyebrows done without having to drive two hours.
Haircut and Color. My
stylist was rude and acted as though I had no right to have an opinion.
She gave a great color but when I had a comment about a specific section
of hair, she snapped at me! She also can't style hair. For the amount of
money I paid, you would think she could at least finish drying my hair.
She had friends visiting and wasn't paying attention to me. She rushed me
out of the seat to the sink to have someone else wash my hair so she could
work on her friends hair!
Highlights and cut. The
attendants were very friendly but the service was terrible...my highlights
were different colors and my hair was completely damaged. I tried to get
my money back and I was denied several times. I had to call corporate
office to finally get the issue resolved.
I've had my hair done
there several times, but have to talk them into what I want. I have had a
very bad experience with cosmetic tattoos by Elena. This resulted
from being talked into a different color for my lips than I wanted.
Now I will likely have to go to another salon in order to make my eyeliner
even, and my lips the right color for my shade of skin.
Color and cut. Sokry at
Bubbles Salon on K St. is wonderful. Her hair cut and colors are so
precise i had never been happier with my hair.

Maria used to work at Skin
Savvy and now renting her own place at Last Tangle Salon. I have
been going to her for my brazilian for 3 years and she is quick, thorough
and gentle.
The haircut
was sub- par. Service far from the price I paid. The shampooer looked very
young and proceeded to get my whole top body wet when washing my hair.

Maryam is excellent. I
live in the Kentlands area and drive to D.C. just to have my brows threaded
by her. I am a professional model and always need to look extremely
polished. Maryam makes sure that I maintain my look. The only draw back is
working around her schedule...but she is worth it!!!

job threading - but quality of service is quite poor. Often, when there
should be two people working, there is only one. And they are not punctual
with their opening hours. Expect to wait 1/2 - 1 hour. People who have
made an appt. via phone get to cut. The problem is getting someone on the
phone to make the appt.

I got trim which was even
hardly a trim, a bit of snipping here and there, and I was charged for a
full hair cut. What a rip off! Otherwise I would have liked the atmosphere
but I don't think that I will be back.
Haircut. I was a
first-timer in the salon and was kind enough to not be a walk-in but made
an appointment 2 days prior for a haircut & eyebrow wax. When I
arrived - on one my busiest days - they proceeded to cut my hair. But when
it came time to do the wax, the girl didn't have time for it. To say I was
unhappy would be an understatement. I spoke to the manager and he said,
well things happen, I guess. And left me to find somewhere else to get the
service. In my opinion, if your staff agrees to a service - you agreed to
it. I made it there for my appointment, despite being busy - I feel that
as a business you ensure that you hold up your end and you make the time.
Eyebrow Threading. The
service was good, but I looked for the prices in the internet and they
listed the prices for $5.00 for the eyebrow threading, and $10.00 for both
the eyebrow and upper lip threading. My surprise is when I was ready to
pay, they charged me $20.00. Go figure!
Threading, Facial &
pedicure. A great combination of QUALITY work and GREAT customer Service.
I've been going to couple of different local salons for a while now.
Either they are good but have a bad attitude, or really bad with a good
attitude; but Uzma (the owner of the salon) has the most courteous and
helpful attitude and SHE IS GREAT in what she does.
I had
threading, facial, massage manicure and pedicure. The service and
staff were excellent. The environment was wonderful and I was more
relaxed then I have ever been in my life. Great spa.
After Chemo (9 months
before) I had lost all my hair and it was growing back with no style at
all. They gave me a shampoo/cut and styled my hair and even gave several
sample products to help me learn how to style it myself. And at a very
discounted price! GREAT PEOPLE WITH HUGE HEARTS!!
Sangita was AMAZING! I
have had my eyebrows threaded for several years due to my skin's
sensitivity to waxing. I found Sangita on this site and decided to give
her a try. She was patient with me, and threading with her was literally
pain free. She was extremely thorough and in less time than it took
others (less than 10 minutes-and she had to correct the mistakes of
the last girl), I have the best looking brows that I have ever had. If I
could give her higher than a 10 rating I would!
Sangita is the best when
it comes to threading. I have been going to her for 2 years. She's shapes
your brows just right, not too thick and not too thin.
Sangita does a great
job. Threading is quick and cheap too. She left my eyebrows thick
like I wanted but made a beautiful shape. The second time she also gave me
a facial which was the best facial of my life.
Eyebrow lady is the
best! Her eyebrow threading is unbelievable and affordable. I highly

Terrible threading, I only needed cleaning and the lady reshaped my
eyebrows, and also needed tweezers. The place I used to get them done in
Atlanta never had to use tweezers.

At Gustavo Briand Studio I felt like a queen, & my hair was cut in the

I have had my eyebrows

Oasis. The first time they did an awful job but I decided to go back to
give them a second chance. On my second visit I had to wait 25 minutes
during which the owner tried to pressure me into other services. The
threading was awful and my eyebrows were really uneven. Unfortunately I
cannot recommend this salon.

I've had my eyebrows
threaded for over 5 years now and I was not pleased with the results.
There is no prep (to clean the area), poor lighting and I still had to
tweeze many hairs. Also, there is no massaging of the area threaded. I am
used to paying $5 for eyebrows. They charge $7. I went back 2 other times
to give them the benefit of the doubt... maybe it was just a bad day. But
I was still dissatisfied every time I went.

The best

vacuum suction unit and they take out all the blackheads...just wonderful

My eyebrow threading was
awful. I still had to go home and tweeze stray hairs and for 2 weeks I had
to "fill in" the bald patches she left. My cut and color was
okay, but I was told that next time I came in I would really need to
update the look because it made me look washed out and fat. My
massage was okay and the salt scrub was nice, although the product smelled
funny. Both would have been better if the person doing them wasn't
talking the whole time. The facial was the only enjoyable part of my day.
Overall, it was an awful experience and some services were overpriced.
Over priced.
I don't mind paying a little more at a nice spa, as long as I'm being
treated nicely. Here, the prices are outrageous and the treatment is
poor, not to mention the threading was not great.
Eyebrow threading. If you
ever have the opportunity to have your eyebrows threaded by Ayruna, you
will never want waxing again! She is definitely a professional! My skin is
very sensitive and will not tolerate waxing. I am a little red after
threading but it goes away quickly.
I had never heard of
threading before a friend moved here from California. Waxing always had
made my eyes swollen and very sensitive. Aruna who does the threading is
AMAZING!!! I was red for maybe and hour and no swelling!! It was less
painful then waxing!!!!
Elemental Nature Massage.
Wonderful spa experience. The massage began with a mini foot scrub &
massage. I highly recommend it and massage therapist Tomasz Bak.
Eyebrow Threading. They
shaped my Eyebrows with a thread. It was amazing. No wax, no burning,
totally natural. Everyone should try it at least once. I assure you, you
won't regret.

generally have to deal with breakouts and red patches for days when

because the lady was friendly. She decided she didn't really want to color
my hair the way I asked because she felt she could do it better. I would
not have cared except the gray coverage turned out to be white and the
rest of my hair was honey blonde. She actually highlighted all the
gray hair. I was sick when I got the bill and she was kind enough to let
me know highlights next time would only run me about 80 bucks more than
the ridiculous amount I was paying this time.
Eyebrow threading. The spa
was clean and the staff very nice. The eyebrow lady did a very good job
with my eyebrows (almost no pain), and the price was decent ($15). But the
times available to get the threading done are very difficult and getting a
second appointment was also very difficult.

pedicure, facial. I was given a gift certificate to this place. It
was for a full day (5 hours) of treatments & a gourmet lunch w/
champagne. They cut all of the services short (3hrs) total. The lunch was
from a fast food place & no champagne in sight. I was treated as if I
was a burden to all that worked there.

LOVE Hair Images!!! I've moved out the state, and Hair Images is a place I
definitely miss. They do the best eyebrow threading in the city, I highly
recommend!!

have been going to Hair Images for over 5 years and in the beginning it
was great because you were in and out and they did a phenomenal job. Sanna
is the best for thick eyebrows. But in the past year it has gotten very
crowded and they treat you like a number. The staff also is not as
friendly as it used to be. I think most women go because you cannot knock
the results.

Very clean, large friendly staff. If you make an appointment you are in
and out real fast. They offer a large variety of services, and if
you prefer your eyebrows on the thicker side ask for Sanna..
They treat you like a
number. It was the worst service I have every received. These girls rolled
their eyes at me, acted like I didn't understand what they were saying
when I actually spoke their language. Overcharged me for services. Just
plain out RUDE! Don't recommend anyone going there.

I love this place! Their
prices are reasonable and I am always in and out of there within 10
minutes. I've received many compliments on my eyebrows because they do a
great job on the shaping of my brows.
They do a
great job. Quick and cheap too. The first time, it was a perfect
experience. She left my eyebrows thick like I wanted but made a beautiful
shape. The second time, a different lady worked on me and she went just a
tad too thin for my liking. I suggest you get the name of the woman you
like and keep using her. It was my mistake for not doing so. No appt. is
necessary and the wait isn't long.
Eyebrow threading. Very
clean and they did a great job shaping my eyebrows. I did not have an
appointment and it was a Saturday afternoon - I only had to wait about 20
min.
Threading and Facial. This
was my first "spa" experience. I have to say that it was very
relaxing. Believe me when I say my standards are very high. Very knowledgeable
staff. Great environment. Beautifully designed might I add.
I have also received a
haircut at Taylor's but it was only "ok" not great. But I loved
the eyebrow threading. I have moved recently and its been really hard
finding anyone that does it has good as them.
Facial, Threading, Body
Waxing. the best customer service I have received, all herbal products,
good environment, Gave me a cut I have been looking for.
Hair cut & color. This
is a great place for a good cut and color for a reasonable price. But make
sure your stylist doesn't get too scissor happy --like mine.
They charge
salon prices but they don't treat you like you're at a salon. One
time I went for highlights and it came out horrible. There were
spots of color in areas of my hair where they shouldn't have been.

I have been to Dilshad
about 15 times over the past 5 years and I'm really happy with their
eyebrow threading. It is always fast, inexpensive, and professional. The
quality of the threading varies somewhat among stylists, and two or three
times I've been a little disappointed, which is why I didn't give it a
ten. However there are some excellent stylists at Dilshad. Overall I'm
satisfied and will keep coming back. I've been to a few other salons for
threading but Dilshad had is still my favorite.

bikini wax. Dipti is awesome,
very busy! You walk in and have to grab a number, as if you were in line
at a deli. She has two chairs in the middle of the room, with people
waiting in chairs for their turn on the edges. It takes her all of 30
seconds to do your eyebrows, and then she's off to the next person. So, if
you're the 30th person in line, don't worry, you'll be out of there in 10
minutes or so. Small, cramped but efficient.

thus far that has been able to keep the shape of my brow without cutting

Hair cut and color.
Based on recent reviews I called to ask for an appointment with their top
stylist. During my consultation for coloring and hair cut, he
recommended black as the color for my hair since I am Asian. I told him I
don't want black but deep brown. He went ahead and colored my hair without
showing me any color swatches. As it turns out, he colored my hair jet
black. He also cut my bangs unevenly. I should have walked out the moment
he suggested that my hair should be black. I could have gone back to have
them do it again but I was afraid that they are going to ruin my hair so,
I decided to simply write a review and never to go back again. I went back
to my old salon to rectify the situation (cut and color).
Facial. Everyone was
so friendly! I was greeted by the receptionists as soon as I walked in the
door, and my esthetician was wonderful. I can't wait to try out more
services!
Atmosphere
was rude, cold and unfriendly, save one receptionist. Esthetician did such
a mediocre job on my eyebrow and bikini wax that I walked out of the place
with hair still in between my brows and my bikini line completely uneven.
I would never go back here.

fancy, but the the best eyebrow threader ever. She gave me a great arch,
very neat, precise threading above eyebrows, she even combed and clipped
them to perfection. The neighborhood is not shady just very ethnic. $3 and
I gave her $2 tip......the best $5 spent.
For such a
fancy address you would expect much "more." My hair color
is the worst it has ever looked. I was rushed, spoken to poorly and
waited over 45 minutes to get started. Please don't waste your money
here.

Jerry (owner) is just a
great person and very charismatic. As a guy I admit a little apprehension
at first about going to a salon (too trendy is what I thought) but there
is no fear folks....its a great place at decent prices.
Had Hair cut; facial,
massage, and threading. Awesome! Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful and
clean. It's located in a renovated old school; very cool!
Highlights, lowlights.
Jessica did a fantastic job on my hair. Not only did she give me an honest
opinion on what would look the best, but she carried it out in a very
professional and precise manner.
I told the threader that
threading is the only way my eyebrows can be shaped properly so the
eyebrows will lay flat. I now have a very thin line and all the hairs
stick up. It'll be 3-4 months before anything can be done with my
eyebrows.
Threading. These people
are fabulous. I have had their services for several years and they are
professional and their prices are VERY reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this
salon.

and an arm wax. The staff is incredibly friendly and thorough. Great

Haircut, highlights,
eyebrows threading, and makeup. I needed a makeover after my
divorce. I found Salon Trendz and scheduled a free beauty session. They
gave me a complete makeover where I never looked better in years!. I can
say that I was very pleased with the haircut, eyebrows threading,
highlights, and makeup. I love the way they transformed my look.

I've had cut, color,
formal updo, and facial services. The staff is very friendly and
professional, the salon atmosphere is very comfortable. I get a lot of
compliments on my hair and have no problem referring people to Arte.
Threading. I
normally go Northwest Chicago for threading, but this location was so
close to my home. The staff are friendly, great threading and the salon
offers a card every time you go threading the 5th threading is free.
I
had my eyebrows and lip threaded. Ariba was my technician. She was
extremely thorough and detailed. Eyebrow and lip threading were only $10.

usually go up north for my threading but luckily I found this salon close
to my home in Westchester. Staff friendly good service, highly

the ladies do a great job, and it's only $7, which is cheaper (and less

The salon
specializes in hair removal, and I had eyebrow threading done.
They were very professional, fast and did the best threading I have ever
received.

Pedicure, Hair Cut. I have faithfully visited this salon after being
introduced to it by a co-worker. I will never go back to facial waxing.
The service at this salon is phenomenal. I have been so pleased, that when
I got married a year ago, I treated all my "maids" to services
from this salon.
Facial
Threading and Henna. Pros: Nice, friendly environment. The Threading Salon
is connected to a Beauty Salon. Everyone does their best to make you
comfortable. Also accommodating to ADA compliance. Cons: Staffing
was short due to the main threader not feeling well. It would be
helpful to hire additional threaders and henna design specialist.
Eyebrow and
upper lip threading. I never tried threading and then found out
about Simply Eyebrows on this site. I tried Simply Eyebrows the first time
because it was located in Broad Ripple, near my home. Sonol (probably not
spelled correctly) who does my eyebrows is fabulous! She makes the perfect
shape every time.
Hair cut.
Because of the no tipping policy it is nearly impossible to get an
appointment at this salon! They also shuffle clients in and out in a
hurry! There is no more than 20 minutes spent on any one client.
They were
awesome. Everyone I know goes there now, My eyebrows have amazing shape to
them now, and it lasts longer than waxing. It does not hurt at all and it
is only $7.00.
Haircut/color. I have
been to this salon before and never had an issue. I went back to get my
hair colored and the stylist made it jet black and then proceeded to argue
that black is my natural hair color (it is light brown.) When he cut my
hair he made it too short and as someone with curly hair, my hair
scrunched up when it dried. I gave this salon a 2 because the stylist
(Oman) did give me light brown highlights to even out the color, but it
still looks horrible. If you do decide to go there for color or hair cuts,
please see Tuncay.
First time i have done
threading. The lady was efficent and polite. I wasn't that pleased with
the shape of my eyebrows, but they were clean and smooth.

behind a Indian jewelry store.

Discovered Usha at suggestion of a friend when I moved to B-more in 1997
and went faithfully until I moved away in 2007 - fantastic work.
Threading. I
love the shop. The service is excellent and the women are fabulous! Would
recommend to anyone and I have. Try early during the day...never crowd
during this time.
I
had a facial. Very happy with the service but the linen on the
facial bed was stained in several places although it seemed that it had
been laundered so it was not dirty. It was still a turn-off.
Rina is the
best esthetician I've ever visited, and I've been to many. Sometimes I
wish I still lived in Boston so I could visit her on a regular basis!

Worst wax I
have ever had. Instead of two even eyebrows, I had one going up and
one going down.
I see Brian
for hair cuts and color only a few times a year and people constantly ask
who does my hair. Although I have thick, course
"difficult" hair (my words, not his) the cuts and shapes grow
out amazingly well. He is also very patient about blowing my
hair out or ironing it. I especially recommend him for people who
are after a very natural and elegant shapes and shades.
I often get
facials at Grettacole, and after my experience with Daniellle at G Spa I
will not return to either one. I have never had someone so disrespectful,
unprofessional and rude perform a service on me. I would like to warn the
general public about her unprofessionalism and lack of talent as a service
provider.

Survival - We received a note from Danielle Browning, the manger at G
Spa. It said "...I was recently surprised by a negative review submitted
on your website about me. An employee at G Spa (who somewhat
fits my description) was recently terminated for such behavior toward

reviewer. I have never had a client dissatisfied with my service or
behavior in the year I've been at G Spa."
Had Katerina
(named " Best of Boston") give me the Valmont facial with the
collagen mask. All I can say is that her title is well
deserved. My boyfriend said I looked 5 years
younger and that my bags were gone. Even with the slight irritation
around my cheeks and eyes, this is one of the best facials I've ever had.
Eyebrow
Threading. There are 2 Leeba's Salons but the best one for eyebrow
is the one closer to Fenway. The lady takes her time, and makes sure she's
doing what you want. She gives you a beautiful shape and she's very nice!!
Though
Leeba's is great for everything else, this is not the place for getting
eyebrows threaded unless absolutely necessary. The lady who did it for me
threaded a little bit and then plucked the rest. My skin was swollen for
hours and damaged for days.
Didn't have
any services done but went in for product advice. They were very
nice and one of the stylists spent time suggesting products. I
bought two. Liked one, not the other. However, he gave
me some good tips for my hair.
Haircut,
foils and manicure. Had a cut and foils with one owner and a manicure with
the other. Lots of attention to details. Hair is great-I can actually blow
it dry myself now! Manicure lasted ten days!
The
area where the waxing is done was dark, the employee had to look at my
face in many angles to see where she missed. As it is my lip burns and the
process had to be repeated five times to complete it. The girl was very
good with what she had to work with and I was happy with her work but....
management needs to know that the area needs bright lights.
Facial. I had
my youngest daughter get a teen facial to get her into the habit of taking
care of her skin. The staff was very informative on proper skin care going
through her teen years and also gave me some new tips I hadn't heard of
for my own skin. My daughter loved it - I'll be returning soon myself!
Facial,
Threading, Massage. Beautician is very experienced and the services are
great. Service is great and it offers clothing. The latest fashion you can
find for western and Indian clothing.
Cut and
color/w foils. I have been to many salons over the years but this is the
best experience I have ever had they quality was outstanding and very
friendly atmosphere.
Threading,
facial, waxing. Anu is Boston's best kept secret. This talented and
painfree threader, waxer, facialist is AMAZING. Definitely worth the hour
drive each way and totally reasonable prices. Best threading job I've had
out of 5 years and 5 salon experiencestotal!!!

made my eyebrows picture perfect. I usually go to Anu every 3 weeks, she
is the best in the area.
That was my very first
time getting my eyebrows threaded. The experience was amazing. It was sooo
precise and lasted quite a while, much better than waxing, because it
doesn't take off the top layer of skin or leave it red and inflamed. Just
wonderful!

was great. I had my hair colored and cut, the stylist's name was Lola and
she was excellent. I think this salon is fairly new to Canton; it should

It was a
very nice salon; new to Canton. The lady who did my threading used to work
at Neelam's Creations also in Canton. I paid $7 for the service and was
very pleased with the process and results.
Massage & hair.
A TOTAL 10 on both services. I am a frequent "spa goer" if you
will, and decided to see what all the rave was about. Indigo's massage
services-which was far beyond any massage service I've had before. By the
time I was done w/ my massage & checking out the girl at the
desk...who was adorable~had talked me into getting my hair done, which was
a huge step for me as I'd been seeing my stylist for years, now I think I
am Indigo's biggest fan/client! A great place all around.
Make Me Over Spa Day. WOW!
I haven't felt that good ever!!! What a great place - beautiful, not
to mention HUGE - & clean . My service women were fabulous- knowledgeable,
& extremely friendly- I felt like "family"- REALLY...I'd
recommend them to anyone looking to feel good & look great.

a great job shaping your eyebrow, but they can be short with customers at
times, almost bordering on being rude. They've also been upping their
prices for the past couple years. It's about 8 bucks for your eyebrows,
which isn't bad when compared to waxing, but in Chicago you can get it for
half the price.

A little too small, everyone can hear your conversations. My cut was just
like any other I ever had. My color was nice but, faded in about a week to
red brown. I told her I wanted it without Red. Finally the cost for my
hair that day was over $150.00 and for Canton that is high. The Lanza
shampoo I bought smells good but, dries out my hair big time.

It's a hair only salon!
Different but cool, very cozy, intimate setting! I felt as if I had been a
client for years, the hair stylist were so friendly and welcoming. Not to
mention I LOVE my new colour!!
Color and hilights. I can
not imagine ever visiting another salon now that I have found Salon Bien.
The entire staff was friendly and fun. AnnMarie was very knowledgeable and
I liked the fact that I was given an entire consultation before we started
without being rushed. I was pampered the entire time I was there .
Perm and cut. I went in
with pictures and was very clear on what I wanted. I was promised it was
possible to achieve a very natural body wave from a perm before and during
the procedure. My hair is fried on the top with square shaped irregular
waves and the underneath is completely straight. The most disturbing thing
is that Gina Agosta Salon refuses to help me. They only say, "we
stand by our work" No apologies, no refund, no reparative
service. I must now where my hair in a pony tail till it grows out.
Hair Cut, Lowlights,
Conditioning Treatment, Facial. I love this salon. The grils are friendly,
did exactly what I wanted and more! It is a very comfortable atmostphere
and there are hairdressers of all ages to accomodate everyone.
Sun Tanning treatment.
Even though I was very dry to begin with I had the same exfoliation
treatment and it turned out very well. I even had it again two weeks later
for another wedding.
Exfoliation &
self-tanner. I paid over $100 for this self-tanning treatment. Exfoliation
was ok. Then I laid on a table while the self-tanner was applied
over and over on my feet. Finally I said, "Are you sure you
should put that much on my feet?" She stopped, but sure enough, I had
horrible blotches on my feet for several weeks afterwards. I had blotches
and streaks in several other spots. I do a much better job myself!
I went to Red Head once
and John cut my hair. He was fantastic and friendly. I called back and was
gone. A friend just found him at Spa Julianna in downtown Plymouth!
The guy who
did my nails managed to cut all my cuticles on each side so that all my
fingers were covered in blood. He then made a big fuss about me wanting my
nails round. Hey, I'm the one paying, and I'm the one who's gotta walk
around with 'em! It's been three weeks since, my nails look horrible,
they're all chipping away and discolored... Oh, and did I mention I got a
huge infection from that place?
Nail Extensions and Art.
They are the best nails I have ever had. She doesn't do acrylics. Its a
different process that is thinner lighter and just as strong and her art
work is all hand painted and original. I highly recommend having your
nails done here.
The next day
I had many cuts above and below both brows. She was also very rough with
my brows and skin while she was threading. Many times she caught my skin.
It was also the owner who performed the threading, making me believe that
anyone below her level would be horrendous. I would never recommend anyone
go to this salon for this procedure.
I was timid about getting
my eyebrows threaded. However, after witnessing many of my close
associates enjoying the process and how lasting it was I decided why not!
Before threading came along I had to get my eyebrows arched every 3 to 4
days. Now I only get my eyebrows
threaded twice a month and the results are wonderful each time.

Threading. It is not a
salon but a kiosk in West County Mall, that does only threading. It is
apparently the only place in the STL for the service but the ladies do a
good job.
Bikini Waxing. The
wax was too hot and the young girl doing the waxing wouldn't listen to me
(I've been having Brazilian Bikini Waxing done consistently for the past 5
years at various locations), so I had hot wax RUN into VERY painful areas.

I felt rushed. The
manicurist did not listen to me, she rushed the job and she talked to
other employees. I had signed up for their pampering Signature
manicure and pedicure, which is supposed to emphasize the massage and
received maybe a 5 minute massage. It was probably the worst manicure and
pedicure in my life, coincidently, the most expensive! I would
expect a lot more from a high-end salon.
Hilights and Haircut. Very
Cool Place. Lindsey did great job on my hair. Exactly what I wanted. Which
is a rare thing in my world. These guys know their curly. I learned more
in 2 hrs than in my whole life. Plus they gave me a TON of samples of
products. Very friendly staff. You won't be disappointed.
Hair cut and color. I was
impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and knowledge about cutting and
styling curly hair. I was re-educated about how to care for my curls and
make them look their best using the right products. (No more sulfate
shampoo for me!) They made it so easy, with a "less is more
approach", that I can easily do at home.
During my
visit I experienced a mouse running along the wall. It was
dirty and I felt things crawling on me for days after the visit.
Containers were unlabeled and scissors rusty.
