Beauty Bits and Tips: a few more beauty hints from ussummer beauty tips: how to look great at the beachHow do you look great for a day at the beach? We wanted to know and went looking for some Beach Beauty Tips. Let's face it, we all want a little help when we're on such public display. So, once again we turned to Los Angeles celebrity makeup artist Lusine Galadjian, owner of Makeup Spot, for some hints on looking our best while under the glare of the sun and the eyes of many. Here's her advice: Your Face
Makeup on the beach should be very minimal. The less makeup you have on, the better it will look. As always,
start with a clean moisturized face. Before putting on your makeup, make
sure to use a good sunscreen. In fact, there are wonderful tinted
moisturizers out there that contain sunscreen for added protection.
I like using Paula Dorf's Tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 sunscreen
($36 at Beauty.com)
Your blush should be light and transparent. Try using Sheer Cheek Tint
by Beauty Buffett ($12 at Sephora.com) Then lightly dust your face with translucent powder concentrating mostly on your t-zone using a big powder brush. This will set your blush and will make it look like it's coming from within, which will look more natural. For the beach, try using Physicians Formula Aqua Powder Cooling loose powder ($7.95 at BuyMeBeauty.com). It hydrates and cools the skin on contact. Your
Eyes Your Lips
For the lips, use a sheer color that looks more natural. I like using
M·A·C Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15 ($14 at macys.com Bronzer Finally, for a sun kissed look, take your big brush and place bronzer where the sun would normally hit the face such as your nose, the center of your forehead, your chin and the sides of your face and neck.
